On Scandal Season 4 Episode 10, things pick up right where we left off and we watch the kidnapping through Olivia's eyes.

First we relived the last bit of the scenes between Liv and Jake. We saw someone come in and grab her and Jake immediately ran out to the elevator and the street before calling Huck. Rewind again and we find out that Olivia was only taken across the hallway to her neighbors.

The captors anticipated Jake's reaction and set up a false lead for him to follow. After that is finished, Olivia's captive neighbor is killed and she's taken under the neighbor's dead body to the ambulance. The men asks if she has any demands but she spurns them knowing that none of them are in charge of what happens to her. The leader isn't there.

When Liv wakes up, she is in a dirty room, with Islamic prayer noises outside, in a bright place. There is another man being held captive named Ian. They bond as the days go by, before Ian is punished for Olivia trying to escape from the bathroom.

After a dream that includes Jake saving her, Vermont with Fitz, and Abby giving her a speech and a clue about relying on herself, Olivia gets out. Only to find that she's been in a fake destination inside of a warehouse. 

Ian was in charge of getting information from her. Now the hostage situation really begins.
