They learn that the algorithm is part of a program that Peyton Temple created that cranks out pop hits. Team Scorpion adds another genius to their mix, at least for a little while - Peyton is a musical prodigy. The team goes through Peyton's list of songs stolen from Peyton's musical program. This turns out to be a dangerous mission. Their van explodes! It was nice knowing you, van. To make matters worse, Peyton is grabbed and Walter is electrocuted again. The team breaks into an apartment to try to get Peyton out, but Toby has to make a sacrifice. Toby does the unthinkable - he raps. It's horrible and ends up being held over the side of the balcony. Meanwhile, Drew is having trouble with Ralph. Walter puts his jealousy aside and reaches out to Drew, giving him advice on how to bond with Ralph over baseball. Ralph failed his test to keep his dad around. He wants to connect to his father more. Cue the awws.
