Joel bought land for him and Brit to build a house on. Brit looks stressed by this surprise.

James has to go to a meeting, and Sam can't tempt him back to bed.

Olivia is hormonal at her meeting with Sam. They discuss why Carol wasn't at San's sobriety graduation and if Sam has made amends yet.

Sam tries to talk to Carol, but she's busy, so they make plans for later in the afternoon.

Brit visits Felicia at work, and Felicia is stunned. Brit wants drugs to help give her clarity about getting married.

Felicia is offended that Brit thought she'd know where to score drugs now that she's a mom. As Brit is leaving, Felicia admits she knows someone.

Brit and Felicia meet the drug dealer named Val. Felicia says Brit needs hallucinogenics. Val wants to make sure a sober person watches Brit. Felicia wouldn't miss this.

Sam tries to talk to Carol, but she brings her dad's ashes, so first, they say goodbye and scatter the ashes.

Sam apologizes for being drunk after the funeral and blaming her mom. Carol apologizes for not being there for her daughter, and they make some progress.

Brit is high but still stressed about getting married.

Joel is bitching to a guy at the bar about Brit. It turned out to be James, and he was drinking beer.
