Melanie hacks at the uplink between Big Alice and Snowpiercer, restoring some of Snowpiercer's systems. She also plants a sticky charge under the trains.
Alexandra gives Layton a list of items that Mr. Wilford demands before the train will be allowed to get moving again. They have twelve minutes. Once the items are surrendered, they start moving again and Layton calls a council meeting in the Night Car.
Melanie gets a snow sample outside and boards Big Alice where she undergoes disinfection, is taken to Wilford, and discovers that Alex is still alive.
Ruth asks for patience. Miss Audrey predicts disaster. Layton lays out a plan of action. Zarah is cornered in the balcony by Strong Boy and Z-Wreck but Layton and Ruth intercede. When Ruth discovers that Zarah is pregnant, she moves her to First Class despite Layton's objections. Layton addresses the train and extends martial law.
Pike makes a trade of fresh produce for weed with the Big Alice crew.
Osweiller and LJ wander down to the Tail for a look.
Layton and Roche use Pike's connection to get the hatch open for them to attack.
Alex visits Mel in the brig to ask questions and later has her taken to the Drs. Headwood to have her wounds healed.
Mel is summoned to Wilford's car for dinner. When he's informed of the Snowpiercer attack, he sends in "Icy Bob" who opens the exterior vents and chases the Snowpiercer forces back onto their train.
Wilford drags Mel to the engine where Alex is driving Big Alice. He orders her to bring the trains to a stop and disconnect from Snowpiercer to let everyone die. Mel's charge blows when Alex tries to disconnect, fusing the trains together permanently.
