Kara leads a team to the second WorldKiller Julia's home, but she has no idea what's going on or why they're there. Alex scares her and she unleashes her powers. They manage to stop her and bring her in. 

Kara wants to try to get through to Purity and bring Julia out again. Alex disagrees with her approach.

Lena gives Sam the day off to spend with Ruby. 

Mon-El, J'onn, and Winn try to fix Mon-El's ship, which is losing power. 

Purity gets to Alex, and she storms off crying. Winn tries to comfort her, but the crystal they recovered from Julia's apartment starts to glow. It turns Sam into Reign in the middle of the ice rink with Ruby, and Purity escapes her cell, knocking out Kara in the process. 

J'onn gets Mon-El to open up about his marriage. He admits that he and Imra didn't actually choose to get married. Over time there pretend marriage got deeper and he developed real feelings. 

Ruby calls Lena to come pick her up from the ice rink after Sam disappeared. 

Kara fights Purity on the subway. The team rushes to try and save everyone as the station is collapsing. Purity gets Kara in a choke hold and Alex manages to get through to Julia and she lets her go. 

Reign shows up and threatens to kill Alex until Julia offers herself in her place. 

Kara wonders if instead of beating the WorldKillers, they're meant to save them. 

Imra asks Mon-El if he is still in love with Kara. He says he doesn't know. She says she hasn't been honest about while they're really there. 

Sam arrives at Lena's office and gets angry enough that Reign comes out for a second. Lena says she knows what's wrong with her.
