Sam learns that he wasn't called to play for his team at nationals and is left wondering why.

He puts on a brave face, but later, he finds out that Akufo paid £20 million to mess with his chances.

Akufo also made several reservations to make Ola's seem busy and then canceled them all, therefore, messing with the business.

Sam takes it in stride and tries to proceed in any way he knows to be possible.

Rebecca is invited to Akufo's football meeting and has to contend with Rupert.

She tries to go in with an open mind but she's immediately upset at the way Akufo wants to make football a sport of the rich.

She calls him out and then a food fight ensues. Rebecca also gets through to Rupert that, at one point, he snuck into matches because his family couldn't afford it.

In doing so, he bought a football stadium.

Rupert takes this as a meaning that he can kiss Rebecca, but she shuts him down. In the end, Rebecca realizes she doesn't need to beat Rupert this time.

Keeley arrives at the office and finds herself lost as everything is being removed.

Barbara informs her that VC has pulled funding and that the office will be closing immediately.

Keeley is distraught because everything she worked for is blowing up in her face.

She sets out to find meaning but there's not much she can do.

Roy has an introspective moment and tells Keeley why he split up with her and blamed his lack of communication.

He leaves, and Rebecca shows up to check on Keeley. Rebecca says that she will invest in the company and that it's fine.

Keeley is shocked, but we then learn that Roy slept over. Are he and Keeley back together?

Nate resigns as West Ham manager and goes home to his mom's as Jade leaves.

We learn that his father wasn't fond of him because he was given many opportunities to do something different, but he still chose the path he went.

In the end, the father and son find themselves getting closer to one another.
