Stacey talks about how much she prefers Stoneybrook to NYC. She loves the BSC and feels like she's conquered her diabetes by making it like a numbers problem. She's transitioned well to using the wireless insulin pump.

Stacey is going to be at a gala and cover of a magazine benefiting juvenile diabetes research foundation. Her doctor nominated her to be the cover girl for the month. Stacey gets to be in a fashion show modeling pouches for diabetes kits.

She wants Claudia to decorate them and their friends to model them.

Sharon and Dawn visit the Brewers. Liz and Sharon discuss that Liz wants to have a baby. Dawn lets that slip in a phone call to Kristy later. Kristy is hurt her mom didn't tell her.

Stacey's blood sugar starts spiraling. One minute it's really high and the next day it's extremely low and she needs juice to stabilize it.

Stacey starts snapping at her friends, especially Claudia and Jessi when they show concern.

At the gala, Kristy is determined to buy a bassinet to show her mom she's okay with her having a baby. She recruits Dawn, Mary Anne, and Mallory to help her.

As Stacey goes on stage, she snaps at the whole group. She starts to make her speech, then realizes she needs help and asks for her doctor.

Her doctor reassures her there are good days and bad days.

At home, Liz tells Kristy it might not be easy to have a baby at her age. They bond.

Stacey shows up at the next meeting with apologies and the magazine. The friends have their own fashion show.
