Sheldon tells Penny and Leonard that he's ready to find a new girlfriend. He asks Howard and Raj for help in finding someone, and they work to set up an online advertisement.

Meanwhile, Amy is preparing for a date, and Penny and Bernadette are curious to find out more about the new guy.

Sheldon has Raj and Howard come up with the perfect ad, complete with puzzles to help him find the perfect woman.

Penny and Bernadette want to spy on Amy's date, so they find out what restaurant they have reservations at, and park nearby to watch. Leonard wants to go to a movie, but Penny convinces him to tag along instead.

Amy's date appears to be going well, until the guy learns that Amy's ex is Sheldon. Amy's date is starstruck, and only wants to hear more about the famous Sheldon Cooper.

Amy becomes annoyed as her date goes on and on about how great Sheldon is, but from a distance, it seems to her friends that the date is going well.

Just as the date is ending, Bernadette accidentally backs into Amy's date's car.

Sheldon waits to see if any woman will solve the puzzles and show up to his door. A girl arrives, but she's just a few minutes late. She seems like someone who could possible be perfect for Sheldon, but Sheldon tells her she missed the deadline and shuts the door in her face.
