Leonard has a breakthrough on a new scientific theory while chatting with Penny which turns into something much more. He shares his thoughts with Sheldon who stays up all night to work on it and writes a paper. They decide to publish it online where it receives praise, but also a few online hecklers.

Sheldon deals with it in a very Sheldon-like manner. In the end, the situation takes a surprising turn with someone unexpected behind the negative comments. There are plenty of humorous jokes and banter along the way.

Across the hall, the girls deal with their own form of ridicule ... from each other. Amy and Bernadette want to watch Penny's ape movie. It doesn't end there. Bernadette and Amy each are faced humiliations of their own.
