She has debilitating headaches and knocked her pill bottle off the sink (she's on oxy). Her record says she's drug seeking. She decides to run away. Glassman tells her to sit. He does some tests and says she needs a spinal tap.

The potential donor says he is named Emmanuel and is from Nazareth. He claims to be a carpenter/teacher, and Jordan realizes he thinks he's Jesus.

The donor is a perfect match, but Jordan doesn't think this is right when the guy thinks he's Jesus. Dom says that it's possible Jesus could come back. Jordan says the guy is delusional. Shaun agrees that there could be a problem with informed consent. However, a psychiatrist says that though "Jesus" is delusional, he is competent to make this decision.

Park tells his and Jared's patient that his spine is fractured and he needs surgery. However, the recovery time could eat into all the time he has left. The patient opts for a simpler surgery with a shorter recovery period but more serious risk of re-injury.

Shaun tells the patient. She tells her daughter the video works.

Shaun meets Lea, who wants to hire Joelle. She has a spreadhseet with the finances. Shaun says okay.  Lea calls Joelle, and finds out Morgan already hired her.

Lim thinks that the patient's symptoms are due to addiction and Glassman is responding to his daughter's death.  Glassman says the patient is in real pain that needs to be addressed. Lim says she'll look at the images.

The Jesus patient tells DOm all about God. The MRI starts and he asks Jordan about Asher. His vitals go up and then stabilize. He calims he's enjoying their conversation.

Jared tells Jeremy he can get him more time off. Jeremy isn't sure he can ever come back.

Park asks about Jerome. Jared says no. Jared thinks at leat their patient can say his goodbyes since he knows death's coming. Park says you can never be prepared. He'd rather not make his loved ones see him suffer though. Anyway, Park sees the tumor has shrunk. However, removing it could paralyze him, so they decide to close and see what he wants.

"Jesus" will become anemic if he loses any more blood. There is no time to wait for another donor.

Lea comes in with baked goods for Joelle to try to woo her to their side. She tells Shaun they can offer her more money. SHe doesn't want Morgan to steal thei rnanny.

The patient doesn't want the tumor removed if it means he'll be paralyzed. He sends his daughter to get ice chips. She wants him to think about the surgery. She goes and Paul shows them a drawing his daughter made in kindergarten. He lost a lot of years because of the divorce. He doesn't want her to take care of him when he's been absent all these years.

Glassman calls the imaging place. He doesn't understand the delay. He goes to see the patient and says she needs an emergency contact. She says her parents kicked her out years ago and won't care if she dies.

Jordan tells Jesus to stop praying with her patients and claiming to heal them. He collapses.

They cannot do the transplant til they learn what happened. Jordan says everything about this guy is crazy. Shaun says that's not a diagnosis, but maybe his psychiatric condition created this issue. He realizes there is a condition that is flooding his system with hormones. If they correct it, he may decide not to donate his kidney, bu it's the only ethical thing to do.

Jared goes to Jerome with a favor.

Jordan is peeved with Jesus' talking about God's plan. She says she used to believe that too until Asher died. He says God loves her and that Asher knew he was loved.

Jerome shows up to talk to the cancer patient. He says he left because he lost the love of his life very suddenly and seeing the two of them struck too close to home. He wished he'd known the last day was the last day. There is nothing he wouldn't give to sit by Asher's side again. But Paul feels his daughter would be stuck. She says she would be honored. She wants him to be there for her.

Jesus' surgery has been done. He no longer believes he is Jesus and says his name is Carl and he knows he's not Jesus. He doesn't know what to do and whether he should donate his kidney. Shaun says the surgery would be high risk and not medically advisable. Carl can't do it.

Park tries to come to a compromise but Morgan is snarky and Park wants a 50/50 split. Shaun says he has a better idea and glances at Glassman.

During surgery Lim is surprised that Glassman has agreed to open a daycare center. They open the patient and find Glassman was right but Lim says that won't solve the addiction.

Carli is in tears and tells Jordan he doesn't matter to anyone. He asks about Asher. She says Asher would make you laugh but call you out on your nonsense. But maybe Carl's brain was showing him the kind of person he could be.  He watches the sad family and decides he wants to donate his kidney.

The doctors do the transplant. Carl's vein tears, causing bleeding. They have no more blood left to give him.

Carl is in crisis and they need to solve it now. Jordan gets an idea and Shaun agrees. He and Jordan work together and Carl is stabilized.

Jared has a list for Jeremy off all the things everyone remembered Asher wanting to do. He thought maybe they could do it together in Asher's memory. Jeremy says the thing Asher wanted was for tem to get matching tattoos. He thanks Jared for the list.

Glassman is there when Hannah wakes up. He does an exam and finds her symptoms are gone. She thanks him for believing her. She asks for pain meds. He tells her no, but he can hang out and help her keep her mind off things. Glassman finally gets his call back about his images.  He comes back and Lim sees him sitting with Hannah.

Eve and Paul livestream. They have carried him to the top of the mountain in a gurney.

Jeremy gets the tattoo.

Jordan looks at her photo of her and Asher and talks to it about this guy who thought he was Jesus.

Joelle is now working in the day care when Shaun and Lea come to get him. Joelle says Steve is th eonly one who didn't cry at dropoff. Shaun is upset. He says that if Steve didn't cry when he was dropped off, he might have autism.
