The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 3 is all about dealing with change.

Shaun doesn't like the changes at the hospital, including the changes to the bathrooms and the scrubs he is expected to wear and becomes determined to prove to Salen that she's wrong about these changes. Meanwhile, he comes up with a great idea to help a man who needs facial reconstruction surgery, but Salen puts the brakes on because the man is under-insured.

Mateo also comes up with an innovative surgery to help a woman who has severe seizures, but Salen thinks it's too risky and Andrews won't do the surgery without her approval even though she can't stop it.

Asher and Jordan add to everyone's stress level by sniping at each other constantly over each other's religious beliefs, and Glassman finds himself getting irritated with everyone coming to his home, where he is semi-retired, to try to get advice about their personal and medical dilemmas.

Finally, Lea struggles with the question of whether to send a save-the-date card that Shaun has addressed to his mother and Morgan has an unusual relationship issue.
