The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 2 is all about changes at the hospital.

New hospital owner Salen wants the doctors to consider the patients as clients who need to be kept happy. To this end, she wants patients to fill out surveys all the time, to be discharged quickly, and to be given what they want. Her ideas drive everyone nuts, especially Park and Andrews.

Meanwhile, Park and Morgan deal with a patient who is in jail for killing her baby, which she claims she didn't do and is giving birth to another baby. Park believes the woman is innocent and Morgan disagrees. She thinks the tests Park is running on the baby are all due to not wanting to listen to Salen and send the woman back to jail.

When the baby gets sick after breastfeeding, Morgan is convinced that Abby somehow poisoned her just like she did the other one, but Park doesn't think so.

Meanwhile, another patient is a young woman with Stage 4 cancer who refuses to b believe she is dying and also refuses to accept hir birth mother's presence in her life.
