The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 11 revolves around risky decisions.

When Powell's friend Vince shows up at her door with a bullet in his leg, he begs her not to call an ambulance. He's on parole and doesn't want to go back to prison. Powell decides against her better judgment to operate on him in her home. Soon, she's roped Asher into this situation.

Powell and Asher successfully operate, but Vince's leg becomes infected, putting him at risk for sepsis. Lim shows up and catches them. She agrees to help, but warns that there will be consequences for Powell and Asher's choice.

Meanwhile, Park and Andrews operate on a severely injured migrant worker. Andrews thinks they should amputate the man's arm,but Park refuses. Park thinks if the man can't work, that'll ruin things for the patient's 16-year-old son.

Finally, Lea becomes attached to an injured dog she and Shaun find at a rest stop. When the vet says the best thing to do is euthanize the dog, Lea refuses to accept it and demands that Shaun find a way to operate on the dog.
