Tamara tells Lucy that she plans on moving out. Lucy is still reeling that she hasn't heard from Tim in a few days. When she gets to work, she tells Angela about not hearing from him and that he mentioned jeopardizing her career.

Angela advises her not to tell Grey yet and to do nothing and focus on her life.

But Angela tracks Tim down and jumps into the car with him while he's staking Ray out.

Tim tells Angela that he doesn't want to jeopardize her job, and he finally spills.

He tells her that Ray has something on him and knows that he lied on his report aboiut Ray and hopes to catch him in the mist of being a hired gunner to take him down instead. Angela tells Tim that she's in.

Bailey talks to Nolan about wanting a baby.

He confides in Celina about it.

Nolan, Celina, and Thorsen are at an unhoused encampment doing some monitoring while prisoners are doing some clean up. An unhoused man finds a backpack by a missing teen whose body they found.

Meanwhile, Celina notices that one of the prisoners has escaped.

Thorsen is with Harper as they try to figure out more information about the missing girl. The unhoused man takes them where he found the backpack, and they find tarp and Corrina Lewis' identification.

Harper notices that she was shot, not strangled like the boyfriend who confessed said.

Nolan and Celina are searching for the escaped woman whose mother likely helped her. They know she only had ten days left on her sentencing, so they find it out that she took off.

The mother tells them that Theresa was still pissed off about her boyfriend cheating on her and is likely going after the woman he cheated on her with. They track down the other woman, Doreen. She tells them that Theresa showed up a half hour before and apologized to her for thinking that Mike cheated with her when he didn't.

Angela and Tim keep tailing Ray hoping to find something on him, and he gets out the car to taunt Tim. While talking to him, Ray uses something to scan Tim's car and pull information from it.

Harper goes to the DA to talk to him about the case he prosecuted and they tell him that the boyfriend lied and it must've been a false confession. Thorsen is pissed and can't restrain himself from knowing that the confession must've been coerced. She dismisses him and states that e's bringing his own history into things.

Harper has to find solid evidence that can't be denied.

Someone who worked with Corrina was a gun enthusiast and also was watching her and may have the same caliber gun.

Tim finallly tells Angela about what happened with Ray overseas. He was squad leader and wanted to bring Ray in himself when he found out that Ray was engagining in criminal activity. They went after Ray himself, he called in an airstrike on them, he nearly died, but his two friends, Coyle and Henderson got blown to bits.

He assumed Ray was dead because of the building he was in getting destroyed and finding his nametags. He feels he put his scareer over his oath and it cost him the lives of his friends. And then he lied about what Ray was up to because he wanted Ray's family to get his benefits.

Wes talks to the DA about the case.

Ray shows up at Lucy and Tamara's place to be menacing. Lucy sends him out, and then she calls Tim. She shows up at Angela's house to confront him. She demands to know what's going on.

Tim tells her bits and pieces, and she calls him out on cutting her out and trying to protect her. She refuses to stand down.

Celina realizes that Theresas mother was the one sleeping with her boyfriend and that's who Theresa is after. theresa is at her ex' boyfriend's house swinging a bat and yelling at him and he rmother.

Ray gets someone kidnapped, and Tim and Angela and Lucy have a showdown with him, arresting him in the process.

Ray has a DAI investigation into Tim.

Ray mentions that Greer was there and that he and Tim plotted against him. But Greer covered his tracks, so there's no record of him leaving his home base, and Tim successfully lies about everything that happened.

Harper goes to the gun range where the suspect is to get a feel for him and the gun he may have used. She flirts with him and gets him to let her use his 22, and she gets bullet casings from it to see if they match what they found in the victim.

They manage to get the charges against the boyfriend dropped and the rigth person behind bars.

Nolan realizes that he does want to have a child and let Bailey experience that.

Tim doesn't face consequences from the investigation because Ray is assumed to be retaliatory, but he may face consequences from Metro.

Lucy is waiting for him when he leaves, and she hugs him. He tells her that he lied about everything and saved his job and protected them. But he doesn't feel good about any of it.

He pushes Lucy away and he doesn't feel he can go back to how things were before. He breaks up with her. She gets angry and calls him out on lying to her and then using that as an excuse to leave her. He knows he's not being fair, but he feels like he's not worthy of her right now.

Nolan tells her that he wants to have a baby and they take off to the bedroom.
