Wyatt and Rufus return to the present to tell Mason and Christopher that Flynn abducted Lucy. Next Flynn takes Lucy to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Flynn is there to kill Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and J.P. Morgan, all Rittenhouse members. Wyatt and Rufus follow Flynn's man into The World's Fair Hotel, a deathtrap run by serial killer H.H. Holmes. Flynn offers to let Lucy go to rescue them after she helps him bomb his targets. Lucy suggests Flynn use Harry Houdini to get him into the room where the famous trio would be meeting. Flynn is trapped in a room with female architect Sophia Hayden, and gas pours in. Lucy delivers Houdini to Flynn, who wants him to pick locks. Wyatt wakes up in a room with Rufus, Sophia and another man, George, and Wyatt figures out that a serial killer has designed the hotel. Houdini goes through the ductwork to get Flynn into the room. Houdini steals Flynn's gun, handcuffing him to a radiator. Then he rescues Lucy, hitting Flynn's thug with a pipe. Lucy convinces him to help her rescue Wyatt and Rufus. When Flynn gets uncuffed, he overpowers the guards and escapes. Wyatt makes a hole in a concrete block, and Lucy hears him shouting. Lucy and Houdini find a secret passage, and Houdini picks the lock to free them. Lucy sees a photo and figures out that George is actually Holmes. Holmes catches her and locks her in a box. Lucy plays mind games with him, using her knowledge of history to pretend she's a psychic. Wyatt and Rufus break in to rescue her. Holmes threatens Wyatt and gets killed. Rufus makes one last recording, threatening to quit as pilot. Wyatt gets a call from Flynn, who gives him the name of his wife's killer.
