Recap

Elizabeth finds Henry in the community garden. He likes to help out.

Mike is leading the calisthenics classes. It's his third class this morning, and there are about 12 people in it. Lucas says it's about to get even more crowded as he's going to take Hope Springs to the next level. He promises this is a surprise everyone will like.

Nathan walks Faith to work. It's the second time this week. He offers to stop by for lunch since it won't be busy.

Bill has a title contract transferring land ownership from him to Madeline. The solemn look on her face doesn't inspire confidence. She's leaving for Union City today, so she cannot see the cabin. Her goodbye seems rather permanent. I'm awfully glad I met you, Bill.

Rosaleen returns something to Elizabeth, and the two hug, so happy to see each other again.

As they catch up, Rosaleen talks about her studies. She's nannying and moving with the family, so she can only stay for a week. She's saving for college and might consider nursing.

Nathan finds Jamie outside the Queen of Hearts, and they're taking all of their luggage. Bill will be crushed if they don't return. He's considering buying some things for the cabin so she won't be without.

Lee has the baby at the office. Rosemary wants to try a babysitter maybe one day a week, but Lee doesn't want that. He doesn't want to miss time with Goldie. She recommends he consider sharing the responsibility of the mill, but Joseph is talking with Minnie about quitting to become a full-time pastor.

Nathan finds a man in distress outside of town.

Lucas has purchased Hope Valley's first radio. Mike, Fiona, and Ned are there to open it. When Ned tries turning on the knob, nothing happens.

Rosaleen is not happy to see Henry. She doesn't believe he can change any more than they can change what happened.

Lee runs over to Joseph when he sees him. Lee offers Joseph a partnership and shakes his hand before Joseph can get a word in edgewise.

Nathan arrives at Faith's, and she gets to work only for the fellow to demand a proper doctor -- a male doctor.

Fiona knows they need an antenna. Ned wants to open it up and take a look, and Lucas agrees. Mike says waves and wires don't sound right, and she hurries off to find an antenna anyway.

Rosaleen nannies for six and a half days a week. She was seeing someone who didn't want her to work. Her plans are getting further and further away from college, but she's sure she'll figure it out. Why do I have a feeling Henry will give her money?

Fiona and Joseph work together to make the antenna. She realizes that combining copper and steel would make a big difference.

When Elizabeth runs into Molly and Florence, the story about Rosaleen is much different. Rosaleen hasn't shared her dreams with Molly.

Mike says that the patient was very mean to Faith. Faith promotes him to temporary doctor to deliver the cod liver oil to the patient. Mike's first order of business is to demand the patient take medicine from Faith.

Elizabeth talks with Lucas about Rosaleen. Lucas wonders about a job at the Queen of Hearts, where she can live at home and save up for college. It's worth a try, Elizabeth says.

Bill is scouring the office for things to spruce up the cabin. He finds a butter churn that he can plant flowers in. Nathan finds it all very amusing, but Bill scoffs at the idea of love.

Rosemary asks Elizabeth if there's anything she can contribute to the next issue of the paper. Elizabeth's got all of the goings on, and Rosemary is excited.

Elizabeth and Rosaleen chat, and Elizabeth learns that Rosaleen is hiding her pain to spare her mother any trouble. Elizabeth gives her Lucas's offer, but Rosaleen isn't thrilled.

Outside, Rosaleen comes face to face with Henry. He asks Elizabeth if that's Molly's daughter.

Joseph pays Elizabeth a visit. He's at a bit of a crossroads. She understands. She's worried about Henry.

Elizabeth wants Henry to try talking with Rosaleen. He owes it to Rosaleen to try and to himself, too.

Bill is making the rounds to get more stuff for the cabin. Nathan and Elizabeth share a knowing glance as they load the wagon.

Molly pushes Rosaleen for information, but when Rosaleen pushes back, Henry overhears.

As Mike is talking about the ornery patient, he and Ned actively dismiss Fiona's excellent antenna.

Henry asks Lucas for a favor. Lucas visits Rosemary to place an ad for the scholarship. The donor wants to remain anonymous. Rosemary is so excited about all of the secrets, but Lucas only reveals his own.

The Canfields arrive at the Coulters for dinner.

Elizabeth and Lucas talk about Rosaleen. Elizabeth doesn't think giving money away will help either of them heal.

Ned fiddles with the radio so much it blows up.

Nathan and Faith decide to be friends, but the conversation is very confusing nonetheless.

The dinner is wonderful, and then Joseph admits he's at a crossroads. Lee fires Joseph, and Joseph quits. Lee says he's welcome back any time, but he doesn't think he should. They toast Pastor Joseph.

Lucas calls. It's time to gather at the saloon.

Finally, Fiona and Ned mount the antenna.

Molly, Florence, and Rosaleen are so excited about the scholarship. Elizabeth holds her opinion and says how happy she is for Rosaleen.

The radio works, and everyone is delighted and dancing. Nathan and Faith stand around looking goofy but decide to dance. When they begin, Nathan and Elizabeth exchange another knowing glance.

Lee offers Richard a promotion.

Bill and Nathan arrive at the cabin and hear male voices inside. A smarmy fellow comes outside. Bernhard Montegue is happy to have the land. He and Madeline are engaged to be married. Bill is shocked.

Elizabeth visits Henry. He needs to tell Rosaleen. He's just trying to do something good, but he's worried if she knew it was from him, she'd turn it down.

When Calls the Heart Season 10 Episode 7 Quotes

Joseph: Lee, there is something I want to talk to you about.
Lee: You know, it's funny you mention that because there's something I want to talk to you about, too.
Joseph: Oh?
Lee: Yeah. How would a partnership in Coulter Lumber sound to you? You and me, runnin' the show together.
Joseph: Lee, that's so generous. I, I don't know what to say.
Lee: Joseph, look. There's nobody that I would rather be partners with. [they shake hands and hug]

Rosaleen: [after spotting Henry] He's still here?
Molly: Time has changed him. He's not the same man.
Rosaleen: He left Dad and the other miners behind in that mine. Nothing will ever change that.
