Cheryl Blossom: Where are you?! The reigning queen bee of Riverdale High is missing on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 17.
Penelope has been telling people that her daughter transferred to a boarding school in Switzerland. However, the sudden departure of "Cheryl Bombshell" couldn't help but be noticed by her closest friends. They don't believe that she would pick up and leave without saying her goodbyes, especially when she's been so afraid of her mother and uncle.
The biggest naysayer is Toni. As we learned in the trailer released for Riverdale Season 2 Episode 17, she's positive that Cheryl's family did something to her. She'll need to do whatever she can to find her.
Based on the preview photos below, Toni is rallying the troops to locate Cheryl's whereabouts. With no leads in town, the group will need to put on their Nancy Drew hats. Will they find their friend in time?

Cheryl's friends aren't sure what happened to her, but Josie might have an idea of why she was sent away to "boarding school." She's been keeping a secret about her best friend.

Where has Toni and Veronica's searching led them? That basement and door look incredibly creepy; they're definitely not mean't to be there.

Reliving Passion
Alice and FP have a secret past together; there was a bit of heat between them back in their younger Serpent days. From the looks of the photo, will they be reigniting their flame? Or is the fire out after all the trouble with the dead man's car being found?

School Race
Veronica isn't giving up yet in this school election. She won't let Josie or Ethel shake her with their takedown stunt; the youngest Lodge is going to fight while still looking for Cheryl.

Musical Aspirations
The student council election is getting heated, but Kevin has other priorities on the mind too. He's holding the poster for the school musical that will appear on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 18. Is he running the show?

Veronica is wearing her heart on her shirt. Even in the midst of town drama and the school election, she's proudly showing off her love for Archie.
Mary: I don’t suppose you can tell me: What was so important that you couldn’t be there for your dad? Archie: Believe me, I had every intention of going. Mary: You used to worship your father. You used to play music. You, Jughead, Betty...you were inseparable. But I’m looking at you now, and I don’t know who you’ve become. [His phones rings] Mary: Who are you, Archie?
Cheryl: Kevin! I hear I’m back just in time for Carrie: The Musical, which you’re directing. Kevin: You are. I’m having auditions this afternoon. Cheryl: Cool. As far as the lead role is concerned, cancel them. I’m obviously Riverdale High’s Carrie White. [She turns away to leave] Cheryl: School’s gonna burn.
