Stephen Weber and Matt Long are both headed to Syfy.
Weber (Murder in the First, Chasing Life, Dallas) will appear on multiple Helix Season 2 episodes as Brother Michael, the charismatic leader of a cult. He’s described as a brilliant speaker and sermonizer, as well as a first-class geneticist.
Long (Mad Men, Private Practice) will come on board as Dr. Kyle Sommer, a famous toxicologist and the newest member of the CDC team.
Helix centers on Billy Campbell’s Alan Farragut, a CDC member who is investigating a possible disease outbreak.
No word yet on when Season 2 will premiere, but you can always watch Helix online if you need to catch up.
