No, “Before Sunset” was not The Vampire Diaries season finale.
While last night’s action-packed, (literally) heart-stopping episode of this CW thriller could easily have served as a cliffhanger-y conclusion to season three, one installment remains.
What do we know about the finale? It will be titled “The Departed.” It will flash back to a happier time in Elena’s life. It will feature Alaric and a shady storage unit. It will result in Elena making a choice: Damon or Stefan?
And it will feature the return of a fan favorite, as teased in the following network promo. Watch now!!!
