In this case, the contestants took part in head-to-head battle for the Quickfire Challenge that involved guest judge Jamie Bissonnette. The victor won bragging rights … and also $10,000.
Then, for the Elimination Challenge, the losers from the first challenge were given a chance at redemption when they cooked off as a team against the Quickfire Winners.
Also, in yet another competition, the hopefuls had to think about the best dishes they could make on a lean military budget with Revolutionary War-themed battles that took place at the historic Watertown Arsenal.
