Riverdale Promo: Secrets To Keep Buried

Another murder, another mystery and another secret that will weigh down the minds of our favorite Cooper family. Death seems to find them when they're potentially at their happiest. But this is Riverdale, that idyllic scene doesn't last too long.

Betty, Alice and Chic have a dead body to keep hidden on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 13.

Ever since Chic came into the picture, he's caused one mess after another. This time it has led to a dead body and a secret that needs to be buried. But who actually did the deed?

Based on the trailer for "Chapter Twenty-Six: The Tell-Tale Heart," we see a visibly shaken Chic while Alice is quickly cleaning up the blood. One of the two of them had to have killed the mysterious stranger. And we already know that Betty just got home and Hal was staying somewhere else.

Though, there's no time to worry about the murderer. The trio are more concerned about hiding the dead body and keeping it a secret from Hal.

We see Alice and Betty carry the body to a sewer tunnel and leave it abandoned there. Betty mentions that there could be loose ends. Is it possible someone will discover the body?

Also appearing in the promo is a mysterious envelope filled with LOTS of cash. Based on the jacket the person is wearing, it's easy to deduce that Archie is the one holding the money.

Does this have something to do with interning with Hiram? Will Agent Adams find out about this?

Archie is already being pulled in too deep with his undercover assignment. We saw him side with Veronica and the Lodges on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 12. However, now there is money involved here.

Will he try to protect Veronica and the Lodges again?

Rounding the promo were a couple of quick teaser clips featuring some of our other Riverdale friends.

We saw Jughead sitting by the phone, a mysterious woman waiting at an armchair watching someone, and Cheryl arming her bow and arrow. Out of the three of them, Cheryl with the bow is the most concerning. You never know what she'll do next.

She's a wildcard character, and that's why I love her.
