Gotham Behind the Scenes: Nygmobblepot!

We don't know about anyone else, but are hearts were aflutter during Gotham Season 3 Episode 5 when it seemed that Nygma and Penguin were about to kiss.

Or that Penguin was about to kiss Nygma. Or wanted to. At least we know it may have crossed his mind.

It seemed like Nygma was feeling something similar for Oswald. It seemed like it was more than just brotherly love. It seemed like the bromance between the two was ready to cross the line.

Then, the unthinkable happened!

Isabella, a girl with a striking resemblance to Kristen Kringle, shows up at the wine store where Nygma is shopping for a bottle of wine for his and Oswald's dinner!

The sight of her sent his heart aflutter, and if there were any thoughts of a romance with his good friend Oswald, those were thrown out the window the minute he saw her.

Or, maybe Nygma never had any romantic feelings for Oswald. Maybe Nygma only looks at Oswald as a very good friend. In Nygma's mind his relationship with Oswald is only platonic.

Or maybe not!! We're so confused.

What's going to happen if Nygma doesn't have any romantic feelings for Oswald? Oswald will be crushed for sure, and it will harden him more than ever, but he will survive. 

Their relationship will probably get a little rocky. Oswald might push Nygma away. In very worse scenario, Oswald could kill Nygma! What a travesty that would be!

We think it'll be worse when Nygma admits he's fallen for someone else before Oswald has even had a chance to tell Nygma how he feels.

It seems that might be the case after watching this video. 

How will Penguin react to the idea of Isabella? In the video he seems rather calm about it all, but he is trying to do something to end it.

Penguin is taking his new role as Mayor of Gotham very seriously, because we would have thought Penguin would make it simple and kill the blonde-haired beauty!

Instead, he seems to be trying to get rid of her the old-fashioned way: by making Nygma look bad and telling her about Nygma's stint in Arkham.

What will Nygma do when he finds out Penguin is interfering in his new relationship? It's probably not going to be good.
