Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil will be joining forces to take down a villain played by Sigourney Weaver, and we are super excited.
Netflix dropped the official trailer today of what looks set to be a return to form for the Netflix's Marvel universe after the dud that was Iron Fist.
Viewers have been clamoring for more from Jessica Jones ever since the first season of her show hit the streaming giant in late 2015.
In the trailer, we get to see the four heroes meeting up and realizing they need to join forces to save New York City from a new villain that is intent on destroying everything and everyone in her path.
With Jessica still very much on the fence about being a superhero, you can bet that there will be a few scenes that she questions her place with the team.
Daredevil, however, seems ready to fight from the get-go and wants to make the streets of New York safe again ... even if he has to pose as Jessica's lawyer just to get her to fight the cause.
The meeting between Luke and Iron Fist is sure to be full of laughs. Both men seem to think they are stronger than the other and it results in them engaging in a brutal fight.
Hey, who said friendships need to start over drinks?
One big takeaway from the trailer is the arrival of Elektra. We're sure that's going to send the drama into overdrive.
Look for all episodes of the series to debut August 18 on Netflix.
