The Magicians Gets Season 4 Premiere Date - Watch the Teaser

Changes are afoot on Syfy's The Magicians. 

The Magicians Season 3 ended with Dean Fogg's decision gave his students no memories and magic-free identities, allowing them to take on normal lives. 

In the first teaser for The Magicians Season 4, fresh from New York Comic-Con, Margo is taking on the role of a fashion editor named Janet. 

It seems very Once Upon a Time ... almost like the characters have been cursed.

Margo gets a visit from the God Ember and it makes her question everything. 

Will she be the one that brings her friends back together, or will something more sinister do the trick?

"Even with their new identities, our core group is far from safe since, inside Castle Blackspire, an ancient, powerful and unkillable Monster escaped confinement and jumped bodies to a new host, Eliot," reads the official synopsis. 

"The season ended with The Monster finding a mind-wiped Quentin, and Season 4 will pick up with The Monster seeking out the others, and something else…”

The show's return date was also revealed at NYCC. 

It returns Wednesday, January 23 at 9/8c. We can only imagine the crazy stuff that's about to go down with all these new identities.
