More Grey's Anatomy Spoilers For New Episode

at . Comments

Thanks to the WGA strike, we have run out of episodes of all our favorite shows, Grey's Anatomy among them. Grey's Anatomy only has one new episode (episode 11) left, which as we've talked about at length, will air on January 10.

When we last left the staff of Seattle Grace, Lexie Grey was unable to save Nick (Seth Green), a patient who she had just started to make a connection with. Miranda Bailey's husband got sick of waiting for her to make time for him and their son.

Derek kissed Rose, and Meredith told him that she doesn't want him seeing anyone else, unaware of what has happened with Rose of course. Alex and Ava hooked up - after he got suspended for sneaking her into his surgery (and told her about Lexie) After work, Meredith, Lexie and Cristina bonded, dancing away their worries.

Alex and Ava

Many of you have likely already heard or read some of the spoilers coming our way for episode 11. But we've uncovered a little more information about the potential season finale. Follow the jump for what we know about what happens next ...

In episode 11, entitled "Lay Your Hands On Me," Bailey is floored when her son, little Tucker, Jr., is rushed to the emergency room at Seattle Grace.

Debra Monk returns as Louise O'Malley, George's mom, and shocks both Izzie and Callie by the end. A faith healer who refuses surgery causes Dr. Hahn and Alex to question their beliefs in traditional medicine. Derek will have to man up and face Meredith and Rose, both of whom want to have a relationship with him.

TV Guide's Michael Ausiello has more dirt on the upcoming Grey's Anatomy episode. Derek goes to Meredith saying that he wants to build them a house.

When Meredith Grey isn't ready to take that step (or any major step with him, for that matter), Derek decides to give his relationship with Rose a try. The return of George's mom will result in one of several cliffhangers on the show, as well.

A source close to the show reports to TV Guide that the developments are major: "they're pretty big bombshells. Basically, everyone's future is left up in the air."

The show will also change things up a bit when Bailey narrates the episode instead of Meredith. TV Guide says nothing will happen to Dr. Bailey physically, but as far as her emotions go, the Chief Resident is going to go through some hard times.

With what potentially happens to little Tucker, that certainly sounds like a big understatement. Finally, it looks as if we will find out more about where Alex Karev (pictured above, with Ava) is taking his own romantic life.

We'll have to wait and see what happens, but this should give us some good discussion material for now, at least. What do you think about all this?

omg rose is the devil i hate her. meredith needs him

did i just read 'rose seems nice'? she is so annoying. all she does is sit there and complain, im an impeferct person, ive been in 37 of your surgeries and you didn't even notice' whinewhinewhine!

Meredith has far too much baggage for Derek to handle. Don't we remember when she basically broke up with him in front of a group of people? Please. She treats him horribly. Derek doesn't deserve to be treated like that, and Rose seems nice.

I think it's time for a new sn... maybe iusedtoluvgreys... Does Shonda think her viewers are stupid? I for one am not willing to sit back and be force fed this crap anymore. Shonda has destroyed the only couple worth watching on TV and for what purpose? Obviously not ratings.. Shame on you Shonda.

The problem isn't Derek, it's Meredith. She's too damn whiney and can't commit. I think she'd rather date Christina, lol. (not really, settle down)
In any case, I'm sick of the Der/Mer crap and I think he needs to move on. I would LOVE to see him with Mer, but she's an idiot and he deserves better. I'm sick of seeing her break his heart. She needs to grow up and figure out what she wants and stop hanging out with Christina, lol

okay, derek CAN'T leave meredith!!!!!! and secondly, why would he offer to build her a house right now, i mean where did that come from. he knows that she isn't ready for that and i don't think that he would just walk away b/c she said no to something as HUGE as that!!! :0 anyway, i can't wait to see the new episode, i think that its definitly going to be a jaw-dropper and not just for the mer/der relationship! :) Grey's Rules!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! :)

if if derek and meredith do break up for good i'll stop watching because they are the best thing about greys. And where did Burke go?
I miss him and Christina =( I hope Meredith and derek stay couple forever!!!

shes been in 3 or 4 episodes and shes only signed on for 7, so obviously shes not gonna be in it much longer... but with the writers strike i guess things could change but you guys only have to tolerate her for 3 more episodes

Booo down with Rose- she is such a boring and useless character and another pointless reason to split up merder. Why can they not be happy like so many fans want them to, stop messing around! Derek wants to make them a house too, and just because of that he goes for rose? And after kissing the silly moo once hes willing to drop a relationship with the woman he loves already for a floozy nurse? If this all ends in tears I too will switch off. Petition shonda rhimes i say!

I hate Rose. Facial, I will definitely sign your petition if Derek breaks up with Meredith. I'm so sick and tired of the same drama with Meredith not being able to committ because of her dad issues. just fix it.
Rose is so annoying. They're going to keep her in and make MerDer lifes miserable. They are never happily ever afters in tv shows, only on the last episode of the show when it's going off air.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
