Welcome to the 90210 Insiders Round Table!
While fans meet up in our 90210 forum to discuss their favorite characters and developments, our staff members have arrived to analyze the burning questions and memorable moments from the latest 90210 episode.
Our topics from the show's premiere include character impressions so far, Navid's shadiness, the intentions of Annie's crush and more ...
Who is your favorite character so far?
Brenda Lova: Silver. She possesses Kelly's beauty and David's sharp wit. Good to see Mel and Jackie at least got something right.
The Real McKay: Call me crazy, but I'm going to go with Tabitha Wilson. It may just be the Arrested Development fan in me, but no one plays a drunk, mean grandma like Jessica Walter. Simply amazing. Can we get an Emmy Nomination going already?
Wild4Wilds: Brenda! It was so cool to see her back. I'm gonna need more than two hours worth of 90210 for one of the newbies to take her place in my heart.
What was your favorite reference to Beverly Hills 90210 in the episode?
The Real McKay: Definitely Andrea's daughter being jokingly referred to as 30. Let's be honest, no matter how long it's been since you've seen Beverly Hills 90210, you'll never forget Gabrielle Carteris was as old as your mother when you watched.
Wild4Wilds: I loved when Nat called to Willie in the kitchen. Remember that guy? His nephew and David spun records on a DJ table once. Ah, memories.
Brenda Lova: After Kelly said she'd sit with Mr. Matthews at lunch, without him needing to share his sandwich with her, Mr. Matthews said: "You''re too easy. Anyone ever tell you that?" Kelly's priceless reply, which made everyone think back to how often her legs were spread in the beginning of her time at West Beverly? "Not lately."
Which is creepier: The fact that Navid carries a video camera around with him at all times, or the fact that his father uses livestock in his adult movies?
Wild4Wilds: Totally the camera! What kind of story was he filming for the school news show at Naomi's party? Was it even mentioned?
Brenda Lova: The camera wasn't weird. It was just an ode to Ray J. But animals in a porn? I've never seen an adult movie, of course, but I thought they just involved Xerox machines and good-looking pizza delivery men.
The Real McKay: Oh, definitely Navid's camera. What a creep bag! Now, livestock being used in adult movies has been around since the dawn of time. Loosen up, people. Naaaaaaay!
Do you trust Ty Collins?
Brenda Lova: Sure I do. I trust him to totally tang that Midwestern tail and never call again! Be careful, Annie.
The Real McKay: Of course! Any guy that's willing to spend $5,000 on gas to fly a girl out on a first date is clearly interested in her. Or incredibly rich. Oh, wait, he has a Bentley and private jet. Nevermind. What a sleaze
Wild4Wilds: Annie is on the rebound herself, so she can't be too serious about Ty. As long as she's just in it for fun, I'd go along with it. Did you see those dreamy eyes?!?
