Hey Folks...maybe your're missing the point. Grey's writers are quite clever. I think Izzy has a brain tumor; that's why Denny is back. Who get's the surgery on "one of their own"? I think it's Christina and she picks who will assist and it won't be Meredith(she didn't think she had her back). Can George or Alex put aside their emotional involvement to step up? HMMMM. Makes you think....I could be wrong. After all, it is TV, anything can happen.
Love the way the Interns are maturing and the Newbies will learn, too.....they are eager and found out how green they really are. Grey's is still my favorite show and I look forward to each week. Writers----you rock!

I think Mark is in love with Callie and the way he defended her to Derek and protected her shows that. I want Lexie with George. Now that is a couple I could see lasting forever like MerDer.
I would only be fine with Mark and Lexie if George and Izzie reunited but this will never happen, Shonda is scared to even put George and Izzie on the same screen.
It is ridiculous, I want some George.

Mark and Lexie:
The reason why they need some appartently not compatible with each other couples (like George and Callie or now Lexie and Mark) is that if there were only happy couples on the show (MerDer), it would become boring. They need some characters to come together and then split up. I quite like the idea of Mark and Lexie. I don't think they would be a successful couple, I mean, lasting forever and ever, but his attraction to her may evoke in him some sensitivity and show his more serious and romantic side. With Callie it looks like him and her are just enjoying sex and friendship but there is no real passion between them.
