i thought that stupid vanessa was suppose to have something to do with jackass. but once again the writers had to make things work for the annoying ones and ruin things for blair and serena. i'm starting to really hate gg. i think it's days of glory ended after the writers strike last year. i wish they'd just cancel the show because as long as it's still on i can't stop watching although i'm more and more angry after each episode

Okay I have a theory about what happened
Blair is super sad at New Years and starts drinking a little not much but enough so that she a bit tipsy but still in her senses. Then along comes Jack Bass the Jackass and slips something into her drink. So Blair was drugged and Jack got his way with her if you know what I mean! (they did it!!) So Chuck will be pissed and all but he will find out later that Blair was drugged and she will too!! So then Chuck can forgive her and they can be together and at the same time it makes sense because then the story can last until the season finale!!

I think the whole gang will team up behind Balir to get her and Chuck fixed. I believe that Dan and Chuck will (hopefully) be on better terms now that they've both helped one another.
I'm looking forward to a (mostly) sober and polished Chuck who is somewhat back to his old self as he appears in the preview.
I never before noticed how amazingly well-chosen most of the music is in this series, especially in the end scenes.
Impressive.

Well, as for Jack trying to kill Chuck, he did call out and almost cause him to fall off the edge of the building.
He also doesn't seem close to trying to reign Chuck in. In fact, he was quite impressed with the party at Victrola.
If there is a nanny coming in, I'm sure she's at the hire of Jack to lead Chuck further astray.
If they must drag this on I hope we get at least these little teasers/reassurances like the rooftop scene. However brief, those are FAR better then Chuck's bASShole moves when Blair goes to see him at Victrola during the day.
If they can't be lovers yet, at least let them be partners in crime and plotting.
I hope something happened between Blair and Jack, just to end Chair. malicious.

I thought Monday's episode was AMAZING. I almost cried during the rooftop scene at the end... it was sooooo sweet how he grabbed her hand and fell into her arms. And then he said I'm sorry! Everything about it was just adorable. I've re-watched it like 50 times on my DVR :) I'm not sure what to think about Jack and Blair. At first I thought they definitely slept together, and they may have, but if they did I think Blair did it as a way of getting him to go find Chuck. But I also think it's possible that the secret is something else entirely... like some people have suggested her bulimia. The promo could totally be edited to make us think one thing even if it's not true (the CW has definitely done that before). In any case, I'm sure Chuck and Blair will get through it eventually, seeing as they are PERFECT for each other. I can't wait until Chuck finally says I love you... that'll be the best scene ever!
As for Dan and Serena, they're cute, but honestly it's getting kind of old. They

I want to have Jack Bass' assbabies. To me, he's the hottest Bass around.
I agree with Jen21. I think Blair contacted Jack to help her find Chuck, (which would explain why he texted her the minute he was in town)I am guessing Jack wasn't very receptive so blair made a deal with him, (which would explain the final scene in the promo).... he has come to collect!

what bugs me about this show is that it has no continuity between episodes. everything always changes from one week to another. i believe this happens because every episode is written and directed by different people than the previous. anyway... if they hooked up blair with jackass they must be out of their mind and trying their best to ruin this show

jack is definately blackmailing blair, but i think that it has nothing to do with them sleeping together...since when did they even hang out? i could be wrong, but maybe the editors did that just to cover up an even bigger secret!
Maybe Blair's eating disorder is back, Jack found out she's asking him not to tell Chuck; but, he tells him they hooked up instead? Blair is ashamed of the truth and says it's true just so no one will know about her own problems?

Perhaps what happened on New Year's was Blair made a deal with Jack to find Chuck and now that he's done that she has to deliver. Jack could tell Chuck this which could prompt his response that Blair wouldn't touch Jack.
I really really hope that Blair didn't hook up with Jack already - seriously GG writers how much more do you expect us to take!!!!!

Jack's role from now on will be screwing Chuck over in every possible way. I think Chuck trusts him only for about 10 minutes of the next episode and then realizes what a jerk the uncle is. In fact in the 3rd episode of the year, he finds an ally in the war against Jack. Also, Jack isn't on that much longer...I think his is a multi episode stint, like Georgina's...basically to stir up trouble.

I don't think she would sleep with him so that he doesn't tell Chuck she slept with him on New Years...talk about adding insult to injury. She's not stupid.
Also..I don't think she would have sex with Jack Bass just so that he helps find Chuck. She could have enlisted anyone else for that and I really think Jack Bass's attitude towards Chuck only really changes after he finds out he gets zilch from his own brother.
I read a rumor that Chuck's mom might not be dead. It's from Ausiello...kinda stupid if they did that but I wonder if maybe this has to do with that. Who knows? At this pt, I've recovered slightly from last night's episode and can't wait til we get a preview..hopefully one with CHAIR.

I waited all day to read all these posts!
OK...in my opinion...
JB is handsome, however, he was a TOTAL jackass. He was just about as bad as Aaron Rose. So glad that's over with.
The roof scene was touching...I watched that part a couple of times! awe!!! BUT...as soon as B made that comment to Jackass about NewYears....I was like OMG...no she didn't! Then I saw the previews and couldn't believe it! I hope hope hope she didn't sleep with Jackass...I am on the fence here...If she was so ashamed (if they did it) she would've been way more upset telling him that C couldn't find out. I was glad to read about the color of the sleeve comment...I love those two together! Wow. Ed is great...when you can reel the audience in this badly, you got it goin' on! I love him! :)

I agree with Courtney and also you can tell that Chuck is handing the flowers to Blair because of the sleeve, it's the same trim and color has the coat he was wearing in the beginning of the promo. Maybe he will tell her that he loves her.
Has for the girl in the limo with him..who is not blair....we'll have to wait and see

guys even if danand serena do break up there never going to get over eachotherr and there never going to find anyone else out there so its kinda aubvious there going to end up together.
i feel like they dotn want to make the same mistake as their parents cuz theyll regret it.. dont u guys?
