Yes Rachael may have acted inappropriatly, but I don't think it was with bad intentions at first. Being from a small town I understand teachers do see students have school hours, sometimes it is unavoidable because the teachers are friends with parents, go to the same spot etc. So I just don't think it even occured to her that what she was doing was wrong or after the rumor came out she would have immediatly said we can't meet after school hours! Plus she wasn't just meeting Dan she met Serena too!!
This is another GG example of spoiled bratty kids getting their way and I think she was a good teacher that really cared and she got messed up because of it (she wouldnt let Blair be a slacker which started all of this).
Of course after she lost of her job for being accused of doing something she didn't (and wouldnt have, she stopped Dan from hugging her!!) she figured she might as well already in trouble for it!

Honestly i didnt like this episode. Producers and Directors: SERENA AND DAN make the show you cant break em up !! DAN has gone soo low and it dosent even suit him. Awful episode.

well marie, we know that its not nate and vanessa in the last seen because, even though the lights are off, you can still tell its dan and rachel. seeing as the shirts are the same and dan and nate have very different hair, the two in the last scene is obviously dan and rachel. watch the episode again and pay closer attention to what rachel is wearing when dan first comes and then what she is wearing in the last scene and the difference between nate and dans hair. it should clear things up for you!
dan is not such a great guy after all. he did not seem sad at all about his breakup with s. what a shame. she deserves so much better. i'm not liking where his character is going.

Here's my issue....If Blair is Serena's bestie, wouldn't one think Serena would be a tad PO'ed about Blair posting bogus, defamatory rumors about her boyfriend for an evil plan? Basically Blair is embarrassing Serena by letting the UES/world know her boyfriend is cheating on her with a far less attractive, older woman. And why is everyone calling her Rachel? She's an effing teacher, come on now. And how in the hell does Serena keep forgiving Dan for these ridiculous things? I don't care if he was "comforting" Rachel at the cafe, he was stroking her hair and gazing into her eyes. Unforgivable. And Nate and Vanessa are horribly boring. I'm probably lonely in thinking this, but Chace Crawford is boring in general.
