NCIS Creator Teases "Evolution" of Tiva
As you read through a number of plot developments on various CBS season finales, here's a closer look at what is sure to be one of the most popular ones.
TV Guide Senior Editor Matt Webb Mitovich spoke to NCIS creator Shane Brennan this week to get the inside dish on Tony and Ziva.
What, exactly, will they be up to over the next few weeks, including the season finale?
"What happens over these next episodes is an evolution of their relationship, though perhaps more extreme than you would get in your normal [workplace]," Mitovich said. "These people do carry guns!"
In the wake of certain events during the May 19 season-ender, the producer added: "It's up to the audience to decide, and they will over the summer, what might happen [next]. But everything has a life, and eventually things end."
However, Brennan was quick to point out that he didn't specifically say Tiva was going to end. Thanks for the clear insight, Shane!

I UNDERSTAND THEY WILL HAVE ZIVA WITH CHANGE OF SOME KIND. SHE IS ACCUSING EVERYONE OF LIEING TO HER. SHE FORGOT ABOUT HER LIES TO EVERYONE ELSE. HOPE THEY DON'T DRAG THIS OUT TO LONG. AND SHE GETS HER HEAD BACK ON STRAIT. GIBBS AND THE TEAM TRUSTED HER AND TONY LOVES HER. SHE IS THE ONE WITH A DUEL PERSONALITY.

NO DOUBT GIBBS AND THE TEAM WILL HAVE TO RESCUE ZIVA AND PROVE THAT THEY ARE THE BEST FRIENDS AND FAMILY ZIVA EVER HAD. I CAN HARDY WAIT FOR RETURN OF NCIS IN THE FALL, JUST WHEN WILL WE SEE THEM ALL AGAIN?

I DO HOPE THEY ARE NOT GETTING RID OF ZEVA OR TONY, THEY ARE SO GOOD ON THE SHOW, I LOVE THE WAY THEY PLAY OFF OF EACH OTHER. THE CAST IS ALL GREAT.
