TNT Cancels Trust Me
Eric Hochberger at .TNT has canceled its advertising dramedy, Trust Me.
The show, which starred Eric McCormack and Tom Cavangh, never maintained its initial three million-viewer audience.
Trust Me averaged around 1.4 million viewers an episode during its 13 episode season, which ended last Tuesday. The head of programming at TNT, Michael Wright, said the show achieved "creative success" but "it just didn’t find an audience."
Wright added: "People sometimes lament there’s so much drama built around doctors and lawyers and police... [advertising is] not as accessible a subject as other subjects on television."
Eric Hochberger is the programmer of TV Fanatic, so please forgive his mediocre writing. His programming is far better. Follow him on Twitter and/or email him. Just don't request threaded comments. They're coming.
