Coming to CBS: NCIS: Los Angeles

So much for NCIS: Legend.

CBS has announced the actual name of its upcoming spinoff, and it's following the model set forth by CSI. Look for NCIS: Los Angeles to air on Tuesday nights this fall.

The series, which will star Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J (pictured above, during his guest-starring stint this spring), is scheduled for 9 p.m., immediately following the original NCIS. We'd love to hear from fans of that show.

Is the prospect of back-to-back NCIS programs exciting, or too much of a good thing on the same night?

I really think you should get rid of NCIS L.A. It can't hold a candle to the other, the original. Why not get it off the air and put the REAL NCIS on for 2 hours straight!!!!!! What a thrill it would be to see NCIS for two hours each week! Best of luck! A dedicated fan!

We are lucky enough to get more than one episode weeknights now. What makes you think we won't love two episodes in a row with the new one. Can't wait.

NCIS is one HOT show with Hot actors.I think the new one will be as Hot as the other one. It's gonna be hard to compete with Gibbs and DiNozzo. Ready for it to begin again.

When Shonda Rhimes did that with her Grey's Anatomy spin-off, it opened up the possibility for crossovers. Plus, it's twice the NCIS. I fail to see how this could be a bad thing. I just can't wait! =)

I lovew NCIS! I think the spinoff is good too! I can't wait!

Awesome!!!! Can't get enough NCIS.

NCIS Quotes

Gibbs: Why use kids?
Rousseau: Why do fish swim? For the same reason disenfranchised children rise up to find their purpose. They simply must. It is inevitable.

Keates: Spider?
Tony: Keates?
Gibbs: You know her?
Tony: Um, well a sort of...yeah. She's Philly PD.
Keates: She was. She's ATF now. Special Agent Zoe Keates. You want to get that gun out of my face and come over here and give me a hug?
