Supernatural: Season Five the Last?

at .

Supernatural enters its fifth season this fall and it may be the last.  At the CW Upfronts, the CW Entertainment president Dawn Ostroff sure made it sound like it.

Series creator Eric Kripke's original blueprint for the show only called for five seasons to tell the whole story of the Winchester boys and Ostroff said it's too early to tell if the show could go on for longer.

Ostroff says, "We'll see how the season goes, but they did a really good job creatively this year, and I think it really paid off in the ratings."

Besides, with the Winchester boys going up against Lucifer and the season finale setting up the apocalypse, where can the show really go from there?

Supernatural Quotes

Why do they call this place The Empty? It's full. It's full of sorrow and despair playing over and over again of angels and demons dreaming about their regrets. Forever.
