Sarah Chalke will pop up every now and then on season nine of Scrubs.

But How I Met Your Mother will have to carry on without any more appearances by this hilarious actress.

When asked about the status of Chalke's Stella, Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby) said character's arc was over.

"She had a rather inglorious end. So I don't know if they're going to be able to bring her back," Radnor told E! News.

That's okay. How I Met Your Mother fans will have enough to deal with when it comes to the Barney and Robin relationship this fall.
