Mix it with a story/character well known to DC comic book fans.

Sprinkle in a charismatic lead that's actually a war veteran and support him with an Oscar nominee and a veteran of two critically-acclaimed shows. The result?

Human Target, a drama coming to Fox next month.

The action-packed series stars Mark Valley in the lead role of Christopher Chance, a private contractor who assumes various identities in order to protects his clients. He's like a secret service version of Sydney Bristow.

Jackie Earle Haley and Chi McBride co-star as Chance's business associates.

If Human Target, it won't be due to a lack of publicity from Fox. The show premieres on Sunday, January 17, immediately prior to the season eight debut of 24.

Until Glee returns in April, it will then settle in to its weekly time slot of Wednesdays at 9 p.m., following the American Idol results show.
