Is Ashley Scott about to launch a full-scale assault on NCIS' Tiva?

Maybe, maybe not. But according to EW, the Jericho actress has closed a deal to guest star on NCIS this May as Dana Hutton, a ZNN reporter who suddenly vanishes without a trace.

The NCIS crew is obviously tasked with tracking her down, but one member of the team ends up taking a special interest in the case. That agent is none other than Tony DiNozzo. Hmm ...

Of course, the special interest Tony takes in the case could be strictly professional, but that wouldn't have made for nearly as dramatic of an opener to this brief news item, right?

Ashley Scott will appear, then disappear on NCIS this May.
