How I Met Your Mother: The Wedding Bride Cast!

at . Comments

As we previously reported, the movie-with-a-show, The Wedding Bride would find its way on an episode of How I Met Your Mother, on this season's penultimate episode, which airs May 17th.

Now, we're happy to report the actors of The Wedding Bride that will be playing characterized versions of characters Ted, Stella, and Tony have been cast.  So who's going to play the movie versions of Josh Radnor, Sarah Chalke, and Jason Jones respectively?

The Wedding Bride Cast

Well, of course Tony would cast Sex and the City's heartthrob, Jason Lewis, as the lead.  Meanwhile, Stella will be played by the gorgeous Malin Akerman (Watchmen) and hilariously Ted (or Jed Moseley in the movie) is cast by Chris Kattan.

Meanwhile, the premise of the episode is that Ted ends up taking a date, played by Judy Greer, to a showing of the movie.  Let's just say Tony's skewed version is definitely told much more so from his perspective than reality.

So what do you think of this ridiculous casting?  Sound off in our comments below.

Sorry, but i'm pretty sure the casting of a good looking guy for tony and an ugly guy for ted is on purpose, so katarina you better be joking

I think that the cast is hilarious, that said, I have never liked Judy Greer as an actress so I really hope that she won't be playing a major or a recurring role

Am redicolous casting. Ted is played buy an uglier version, and tony is played by a thaqt Jason is too redicolous because Jason is to attractive to play Tony, And the girl is just random.

HIMYM Quotes

Ted [to Stella in his dream encounter]: You picked the wrong guy.
Stella: Ted?
Ted: You picked the wrong guy. You made a really, really, really bad choice. What were you thinking? That guy? Are you kidding me? Have you learned nothing in the last eight years? You're just gonna regret this. You know that, right? You are going to regret this, and now there is nothing you can do about it because it's too late. All you can do now is go up there and start your crappy, disappointing life that will never be nearly as happy as the one you could have had with me. Good-bye.
Stella: Ted, wait.
Ted: Look, Stella, I am not here to win you back. I am here because I need to know that you know you made the biggest mistake of your life.
Stella: I know

You are the love of my life. Everything I have and everything I am is yours. Forever.
