From the moment Stefan had his first taste of human blood, he was a different person...

So states Damon on the April 29 episode of The Vampire Diaries. It's titled "Blood Brothers," and you best clear you schedule for next Thursday night: there's gonna be A LOT to talk about.

Flashing back to 1864 again, the installment will depict just how Damon and Stefan were turned into vampires. It's the reveal for which many viewers have been waiting months.

Also on tap: Pearl has a confrontation with Uncle John, and Jeremy continues to bond with Anna. Watch the official CW preview for this monumental episode now:

bwahahaha. its so hard to c him locked up like this.. ur da one dat locked him up?!?!? go damon and his brutal honesty!!!

What the hell? Stefan killed his father? OMG! Where do you read this?

Stefan KILLED his father??? no wonder he made himself completely abstain from human blood. Not to mention he was the one who had to dig him up to get the book to open the tomb

And I totally meant "Canadian" instead of "Canaidan".

Interesting. The Canaidan preview was different. Elena tells Stefan that he has to eat to survive (I think Damon brought him a rabbit or something) and Stefan says he doesn't want to.
Damon also asks Elena what Stefan told her about them being turned, and then alludes that there's "a whole lot more" and Elena asks Damon to tell her the story. We also see a clip of a dying? Guiseppe Salvatore...with Stefan over top of him...

Vampire Diaries Quotes

You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for. But for right now, I want you to forget that this happened. Can't have people knowing I'm in town yet. Goodnight, Elena.

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.
