Damon and Elenaaa
She is classy and prety and interesting independent and sassy. she truly matches Damon in that they're both strong and multidimensional, he's damaged and morally skewed, but you can see that a strong potential in a deep magnetic love and powerful raw emotion between the two of them is undeniable. You can already see they're starting to really care for one another and the chemistry is definitely there. Something a little darker, and powerful is definitely appealing to me to see on a show as original and fresh as this one.
Go Delena!
PS. I like Stefan but I think i'd like to see him on his own or with someone like, say, Bonnie- they'd make a beautiful couple and they're both kind of chill and mellow.

Hmm, its just a love/hate thing going on. Damon and Elena! They are so strong together, they have chemistry and an interesting respect for one another-- truly equals in intellect and personality- rather than the oh so stereotypical white-horse snoozathon Stefan. overprotective, brooding, extraordinarily vanilla and macho- Edward, basically, except possibly even more boring. I'd be interested in seeing his character develop as someone else BESIDES Elena's prince charming. Let's take a look at a REAL relationship, shall we? One with complications and passion and real emotion and flaws- all of course, underlined with the extreme sexiness that is Damon. Come on people, wake up and go beyond the obvious stuff.

Elena and DAMON all the way! I like Stefan but he's better suited personality wise with someone tamer like Bonnie.
Deep down the fire burns between Damon and Elena - and since author of the books has said Elena loves Damon as much as she loves Stefan I really hope the show goes there eventually too.
