Was anyone else struck by how Kathrine really seamed to mean that she loved Stephan (while he was dying)?? Being the romantic that I am, I just found that scene where they interchanged between Alana and Kathrine saying "I love you Stephan," very striking and beautiful. Of course Kathrine's a manipulative, selfish B*tch but why did she take the time to tell Stephan that she loved him while he was dying? She seemed shocked by Damon's death, but not remorseful. She also didn't seem remorseful for what was about to happen to Stephan. So I'm not fooled into thinking she's sorry.
What does she get out of turning the both of them? That's what puzzles me. Sure, she gets the satisfaction over knowing that she has the Salvatore brother's undying devotion to her... If she had such plans of being with them together, then why didn't she come to them after she got away? I guess I still don't get Katherine.

three letters: WTF.
amazing ep. but it's true there could have been more elena-damon (at least they could have teased THAT more and made everyone happy) instead of broody stefan. he's so boring, ugh.
and finally, isobel. gonna be so weird not imagining her as a lesbian bitch from the L word hahahaha

I thought the contrast was great. Damon wanted to die becuase his love katherine was dead. Stefan wanted to die even though Elena is alive and desperately trying to save him. Granted she succeeded but it made no sense for stefan even thinking of putting elena through that.
As usual loved the relationship between stefan and damon. Loved the progression of the relationship between Damon and Elena, loved her pushing him and loved her running after him after she hurt him.
Damon and Alaric, best frenemies on the planet!
Poor Anna. Hate John I want that bastard dead. Have a feeling Isobel will be a nasty bitch.

as much as i love damon and elena chemistry there is just chemistry nothing more than that
elena and stefan LOVEEEEEEEE each other so much!! i love how elena help him

This show was awesome!!! LOVED it!. Stelena scenes were amazing as usual, and I screamed for joy when Stefan ran to her! True love! John is an idiot like always - what's up with him living with other vampires? He's one creepy character. Definitely can't wait for Isobel next week - poor Ric! She's going to walk all over him to get what she wants I'm sure. Totally agree Dani, this show gets better and better each week! And with only 2 episodes left to the season I am going to have withdrawls over the summer!!
