The Good Wife Casting News: Tammy Blanchard, Chris Sarandon, Jacob Pitts

As we digest the major shake-up on the way for The Good Wife next season, the show has announced a trio of casting notes.

First, Emmy winner Tammy Blanchard will recur on the drama as a colleague of Cary's in the state prosecution's office. She'll portray Glen Childs’ underling, described as a “fair-minded assistant state’s attorney who looks more like an indie-band drummer than a lawyer."

Second, Chris Sarandon (The Unusuals, Psych) will play Judge Goode for multiple episodes of the series.

Finally, Jacob Pitts (Justified) will guest star on the show's season premiere. He'll come aboard as the owner of a Wikileaks-type website who faces a murder charge.

Julian should publicly offer to play the part.

    Nuthin' proper about your Propaganda

  3. Chiroptera

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? This made me laugh out loud. I can't believe this shit is for real.

One way or another, Wikileaks is seeping into the mainstream. Try as they might, through spin and disinformation, to suppress the truth, there's nothing they can do to cap this gusher.

    Let it blow!

we as a group are slowly coming to realize that they are attempting to force feed us a mind-numbing mush of disinformation and fantasy that even toddlers won't swallow, keep up, don't let the media machine lull us into complacency

I don't know why everyone is acting like this has anything to do with politics. It's clearly just a shite show abusing the times to gain some viewers. If the United States government were to use some leverage on Hollywood to spread anti-Wikileaks propaganda, they'd probably be able to afford to put it in a show that more than 20% of Americans have heard of.

  7. Justin

Propaganda has gotten even more pathetic these days than under Mao, and that is saying something.

  8. Future Shock

    Hahaha!

Propaganda is quite funny, and pretty cheap, when you start getting aware of it.

  9. John Doe

Clearly the CIA/US Evil government is in bed with the hollywood money whores. Im glad i havnt watched tv in years.

  10. John L

Clearly, the role will actually be played by Julian Assange in his most shocking surprise appearance to date.

Seriously though this premise is silly. He'd might as well be a baker. All this does is horribly date the show for the sake of immediate ratings. The writers should be ashamed on an artistic level, if not on a human level.
