John Schneider is coming to Smallville... and Desperate Housewives!

The actor who plays Clark's father on that CW hit is also coming on board the ABC dramedy in the role of a dad: EW reports that Schneider will portray the man responsible for bringing Brian Austin Green's new handyman character into the world.

The veteran actor will appear in multiple episodes and first show up on the season's seventh installment.

Desperate Housewives returns on September 26 and you can view clips from the premiere NOW!
