great episode like always. jeremy and elaina are related john is jeremys uncle and john is elainas dad. I didn't even cry when damon cryed. they should of had the brothers hug each other and they should of had elaina hug,kiss damon on the cheek and said thanks for saving her. this show is getting better and better.

in the books Klaus was the onewho turned Katherine but who knows now. The show is way off track and nuthin like the book

I FREAKIN LOVE THIS SHOW. I THINK THEY HAVE THE FINEST CAST AND THE BEST PLOT. god i cant wait to see whats next. im so scared elenas going to die. i love her the way she is and yes DELENA ALL THE WAYY!!! up until the stelena break up i was a huge stelena fan but now DELENAAAAAAAAA!! :D

I loved this episode, well I love them all but, that is besides the point. OMG Damon telling Elena he loves her, I am so in love with that man lol. My thing is we have seen that the mind erasing does not always work so did it work on Elena this time. Loved the speech that Stephen gave Damen In the end they are true brothers who love and need each other. Loved the new Vampires, Rose does look exactly like Alice from Twilight. OH loving the pairing with Bonnie and Jeremy. Oh and I love love love the Caroline and Tyler pairing. Could we see and werewolf and vampire pairing that would be very interesting. I feel really bad for Tyler right now he has no clue of what is happening to him. Man I could go on and on about this show or yet this episode alone. All in all another fantastic episode of TVD love it.

I like rose but I'm not getting attached, I don't have a good vibe, yeah she didn't harm elena but uhmm she's probably going to be forced/do something bad. She does totally remind me of alice cullen (y)

I really liked this episode!! I'm so glad that Damon finally TOLD her he loved her (despite him erasing her memory, and the fact the probably knew already -- still it's different to be told). But somewhere there was a discussion about Rose being Damon's 'new lady love' which I really hope is not true, because I love the way Damon loves Elena! =D

I think Damon and Elena are wonderful together, and they have a chemistry and deeper connection that I think makes them for sure the best possible couple on the show- I love Damon! And I can not wait until Elena figures that out as well.
I don't want the writers to rush them, I don't, but I really think a slow development and an ultimate ending of them together-- would be perfect! I think they're honestly one of those couples who would be hot, funny, conflicted, but definitely moving together. They're both the best actors on the show in my opinion so it makes perrrfect sense.

Elena belongs with Stefan cause Damon doesn't deserve her, just like he said himself. A little too much feeling revelation there for me from Damon, so I wasn't into that at all and it definitely didn't make me cry, not even close...
Damon needs to get on with this life and let Stefan and Elena be happy, like they are meant to be. And the writers need to hurry up and get Stefan and Elena back together.

I'm confused...Bonnie used Jeremy's blood to find Elena, but didn't we find out earlier that Elena was adopted...so would she and Jeremy have the same blood? Was Jeremy also adopted?

I'm totally into Damon.. That boy breaks my heart each episode of VD... So Elena should totally hook up with him yeah !!
By the way.. the werewolve thing was'nt the only Twilight element... Doesn't Rose look a lot like Alice Cullen ?!

Loved the episode and I think everything was beautiful. I think it was important for Damon to show his true feelings and it really shows he is getting a soul :) Ian did it exteremely well.
But I have to admit, I am still an Stefan and Elena fan. Sorry. They are just too cute for me :)

I look forward to see Klaus , i always portrayed him (from the books) like kinda hot :)).
Oh , and although Katerina is a "slutty evil vampire" i don't blame her for some things she has done. All she did was to protect her and (somehow) the Salvatore brothers and her wanting to protect Elena reveals that she still has some humanity left there. i think the character is likable (although she's representing a villain) and Nina Dobrev has done a great job with it !

Amazing EPISODE! I loved every minute. I'm completly neutral when it comes to ships and stuff, so I wasn't to moved by the Delena scene. Bring on the next episode "Katerina" !

No.. because we will want most probably want the next Petrova doppelganger to stay alive too. So, unless the next doppelganger drives me nuts by hooking up with Damon to spite Elena, I hope she doesn't die either.

ALSO am i the only one who was feelin' the tyler/caroline scenes? i could really see these two hooking up in the future. i love matt but omgggggg

I am officially crazy about Damon, it's not like I didn't frickin love him before this episode but he is AMAZING, Ian Somerhalder, equally amazing! DELENA...Julie & Kevin...make it happen! And that is beside all the crazy, scary and wicked things that took place in this episode! Man, TVD is just awesome every time!!

First of all, you're damn right. Very few shows on ALL the channels actually can hit you as hard as The Vampire Diaries does... and what's more - leave you panting for more each week!
Second, Ian is one of the finest actors out there, and each week he surpasses what he does. That expression after he staked Elijah and saw Elena was fine, the other expression when she hugged Stefan, the one when Stefan was asking for forgiveness and the one when he told Elena he loved her - perfect all of them! I cried with him when he said he wished she wouldn't have to forget what he said, but she has too. He deserves all the popularity he's earned from this show - definitely!!!
Bonnie and Jeremy are definitely cute - and whoever this new Lucas guy is, I want Bonnie and Jeremy to hit it off. They look good together. Caroline and Tyler - am not so much of a fan yet... But they're getting there, and it'll be amazingly interesting to see how two arch enemies of mother nature will be cooperating wi

The scene at the end was so touching. Damon has changed so much since the beginning of the first season. I only wish Elena will start to realize her feelings for Damon.
