Gwyneth Paltrow will return to Glee at some point in 2011.

No further details are available at this time. The Hollywood Reporter broke this news, simply stating that the actress would reprise her role of Holly Holiday in the near future.

Gwyneth on Glee

We couldn't be happier about this scoop, considering Paltrow's fun turn as a substitute teacher represented our favorite episode of season two. And TV Fanatic isn't the only one ecstatic about her return.

“Gwyneth Paltrow is a genius,” Matthew Morrison told Access Hollywood last month. “Who knew that she was such a triple threat? Great dancer, great singer, obviously a great actress. I just had the best time.”

Are you excited for more Holly? Would you want to see her as a love interest for Will? Sound off now in our Glee forum!

OMG!!! Yes she's coming back. I LOVE her character and The Substitute was my favourite episode. She totally should be Will's new love interest. I have lost interest in the Wilma thing as there was absolutely no development (apart from the Rocky Horror ep) on their will they/won't they couple dilemma. But HELL YES to bringing Gwyneth Paltrow BACK!!!

Not happy about this at all. Glee is never going to get back to where they need to be if they keep bringing all these guest stars on. There needs to be more focus on the main characters.

So glad to hear this! I loved Gwyneth's role in Glee and it was definitely one of the best episodes of the season. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Holly Holiday again!

I love this info!!!1 thank you Tv fanatic, I love Gwyneth, Glee, and Holly Holiday!

Glee Quotes

[to Finn] You know, I don't really know what's going to happen between us, but I know that you used to be the guy that would make me feel like the most special girl in the whole world, and it doesn't feel that way anymore. Now it just feels sad and confusing. And the worst part is that it doesn't even feel that bad anymore.

I'm engorged with venom, and triumph.
