Larry Hagman to Romance Lynette's Mother on Desperate Housewives

Wisteria Lane is about to get a dose of Dallas.

Larry Hagman, best known for his iconic role on that long-running drama, will guest star on a 2011 episode of Desperate Housewives as a love interest for Lynette's mother.

Hagman told The Hollywood Reporter he begins shooting next week and is excited to appear alongside Polly Bergen, who will reprise her role as Stella Wingfield.

The actor last appeared on the small screen in 2006 as part of a run on Nip/Tuck.
