Will Blaine and Kurt get together romantically on Glee?

This has been a question on the minds of fans ever since Darren Criss debuted on the show, with Ryan Murphy remaining mum and the actor only saying his character would serve as a mentor to Kurt.

Blaine and Kurt

Are Blaine and Kurt better off as friends? Sound off now in our Glee forum!

But we may have our first hint that this relationship in leaning in a non-platonic direction.

Sources tell TV Guide that this duo will sing Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone" outside a Gap store on the show's February 8 episode, as Blaine gets ready to profess his love. Hints Chris Colfer:

"There might be a development."

Mmmmmm. I kinda prefer the mentor role that Blaine has taken up with Kurt. I too thought that Sam would originally be the bf of Kurt and somehow that seemed as if that would work until they paired Sam up with Quinn. Yeah Blaine tends to annoy me and still interest me at the same time. I do hate that he's interfered with the wonderful duo that is Kurtcedes, the best friendship on the show. I don't know if I want to see Kurt and Blaine together. Blaine is so much better as his mentor, they should consider another guy for actual bf. Love Robin Thicke and his music though so I look forward to hearing the song.

I don't think they make a great couple, actually I think if they were straight I'd be saying they make a terrible couple and are much better as friends. But, even though it's sad, gay kids in highschool often don't really have a choice, not many people come out, and Blaine is the one and only gay guy that Kurt knows... I think they should go out for a little while but quickly realize that they don't really belong together. It seems like the most realistic option.

Something about Blaine just annoys me. For some reason I'm still stuck on the Kurt/Sam pairing, even though he's hooked up with Quinn. Kurt/Blaine just seems too.... obvious. Its way too cliche for me, and they probably wouldn't last 3 episodes even if they did hookup.

kurtofsky??? i think that's streching it a bit. & kurt belong together! i don't think it should happen right away but it WILL happen

As much as I'd love them to eventually become a wonderful couple, I'd kind of like them to become closer friends first. They need to build a trust and stuff. Plus it'd work better for them if Kurt can make Blaine understand him and his need to 'shine' properly and convince Blaine they they don't need to confirm to some dull version of themselves in order to maintain equality. I'd also like them to tease it a bit longer. Rush in and we end up with a relationship like Finnchel, with them either all schmaltzy or fighting over rubbish.
Nah, string it out longer show's writers, tease the fans a bit longer I say! ;)

But Blaine is the one who wants to "cage" Kurt. It would be nice for Kurt to have a reciprocated relationship, but isn't this stretching the compatability thing? What pops to mind is Sarah Palin and Barack Obama running off together because they have in common that they are both politicians.

another Kurt story....why am i not surprised. id love for them to stay friends. i guess it comes down they dont want to add another 'nice' character for kurt to go out with....

I'm really looking forward to this episode. I think Blaine is really for Kurt. I think Kurt and Blaine make a cute couple. Kurt deserve true happiness.

OMG!!! Writers put them TOGETHER!!! They are just so CUTE together! Their 'Baby It's Cold Outside' duet was just AMAZING! I LOVE them!

I agree with Lisa too their relationship should stay the way it is. I hope Blaine stays around really like his character. This has nothing to do with this story but they should give Puck more storylines and songs.

Glee Quotes

You know, a great big fat person once stood on this stage and told a group of a dozen or so nerds in hideous disco outfits that glee, by its very definition, is about opening yourself up to joy. Now it's no secret that for a long time I thought that was a load of hooey. As far as I could see the glee club was nothing but a place where a bunch of cowardly losers go to sing their troubles away and delude themselves into thinking that they live in a world that cares one iota about their hopes and dreams, totally divorced from the harsh reality that in the real world there's not much more to hope for than disappointment, heartbreak, and failure. And you know what. I was exactly right. Thats exactly what glee club is. But I was wrong about the cowardly part. What I finally realized, now that I'm well into my late thirties, it takes a lot of bravery to look around you and see the world not as it is but as it should be. A world where the quarterback becomes best friends with the gay kid, and the girl with the big nose ends up on Broadway. Finding the courage to open up your heart and sing about it. That's what glee club is. And for the longest time I thought that was silly, and now I think it's just about the bravest thing that anyone could do.

Glee Club is officially over. Thank you guys. It’s been an honor.
