This was an AWESOME episode! If Bones was this witty all the time the ratings would be even higher. Kudos to Hart for such a well written episode! I'm definitely on board for the new series. I've loved Geoff since October Road and he's a perfect fit for paranoid Walter!

My daughter and I have been Bones fans from the start and just LOVED this episode. I'd no idea this was in the works, but, as we watched it, we theorized it was to be a spin off and I sure hope it succeeds. We were laughing out heads off! Great casting and writing.

I enjoyed the spinoff episode of Bones, even more than 'regular' Bones. Looking forward to the new series.

Thought the spinoff was ridiculous the only good part was the ending where Geoff thought he might have a chance with the Bones lady, because Booth dislikes him so much it might bring the will they won't they scenerio to a climax, that would be the only good idea the writers could write about to keep their existing fan base, although I have been fairly disappointed with season 6 of bones the exception being the episodes directed by David Boreanaz I am still a loyal fan hoping the writers have got back into the game of writing some meaty episodes for our 2 favourite characters to rescue the show for another season.

watched the 19th ep with the locator cast ... looks quite great .. cant wait for the show to start

Great character and Stults carries it well, love the ensemble they cast with him, great premise (now I HAVE to read the books), will totally watch the spin off, and look forward to cross over episodes with Bones.

I found the character of Michael Clarke Duncan pretty awesome. Speak softly, but be sure to be a huge guy at the same time.

Loved Geoff in other shows. Loved Michael Clark Duncan and his character. I'm looking forward to seeing the show if it is done with the same humor and good writing of Bones. I would like to see a little cross over of the two shows also.

Loved it..cant wait for the new show..I do hope there are crossovers in some storlines...like buffy and Angel...This really grabbed my attention.

They called him the new Booth (on some other website) He is no Booth! I will try to watch it, but Bones will always be THE tv show for me!

Wow.
I have no idea who this guy is, but he'll be fun to watch week to week regardless of whether I've seen him before or not.
Clearly, he's no Seeley Booth, however.

Emily Deschanel wasnt a familiar face on tv before bones. ;)

A bold casting move any other show would of cast a familiar face maybe they saw exactly what they wanted in Stults’ Audition. I’ll give it a chance just as long he makes the part his own to the point where it would be impossible to imagine anyone else playing the part,like Hugh Laurie on House.

I agree with tiva, as a fan of 7th Heaven and October Road, not to mention seeing Geoff guest on alot of other programs, I hope this show has staying power for him, because I would relly like to watch him every week agin.

I just hope he is able to play a recluse,certainly doesn't look like one....tbh they should of cast someone with more acting chops whos been around the block. This decision seems like they wanted eye candy more than anything if this was the case why not have both?? Beauty and presence&personality too bad Simon Baker is taken lol...But I'll give him a chance I have no problem with up and coming talent as long as they put in the work.
