Next Week on Off The Map ...
Practicing medicine has never been wilder.
In our series premiere review, we gave mostly positive marks to Off the Map, the new medical drama from Grey's Anatomy scribes Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Jenna Bans.
What did you think of it? Did it follow the Grey's Anatomy template too much (or not enough)? Are you excited to get to know the Off the Map cast better in coming weeks?
The doctors will soon be put to the test by an anaconda (really) and other challenges unique to their surroundings. More believable than Izzie saving a deer in Seattle, right?
Next week's episode title? "Smile. Don't Kill Anyone." Words to live by. Tell us what you think of the new series and take a look at ABC's promo for next Wednesday's installment:

@ Joanie: It's meant to be a drama, so most would probably except a little embellishment or exaggeration for boosted entertainment value.
I like it, the settings and possible scenarios these allow are a refreshing and exciting getaway from the in-hospital dramas!

Sooooo boring!!!! I am in the medical field and just laughed at what they were trying to make the audience believe. I did not see one truly likable character. Usually there is at least one that will endear themselves. Not the case for this sad premier of a new series. I was excited to see something new on ABC but was very let down by the quality of the show. I am not planning to watch another episode.

its not that unrealistic. i'm sure places like this often have to deal with things like snakes, especially anaconadas
