Paula Malcomson to Guest Star on Private Practice

Paula Malcomson will guest star in an upcoming episode of Private Practice, TV Guide reports. She'll play the wife of a convicted killer on death row and nearing execution.

While Violet (Amy Brenneman) attempts to help her accept her husband's impending death, Malcomson's character obsessively seeks seeks a stay of execution for him.

The actress has recently appeared in such series as Deadwood and Caprica, had stints on Lost and The Event and recurred on the third season of Sons of Anarchy.

Malcomson will appear in the 14th episode this season, titled "Home Again."

The next new episode, "Heaven Can Wait," which was bumped last week for an encore presentation of Off the Map, is the 12th of the current season, and is currently scheduled for February 3, right after the next new Grey's Anatomy.

I don't understand why ABC doesn't air the 12th episode tonight. That would make more sense.


Excited to see this. The whole death row thing kind of reminds me of a Grey's Anatomy episode but I'm sure Private Practice will find a way to really make it theirs. Especially since Violet will be heavily involved.


I look forward to this.
Mainly because Private Practice was pushed back. :p
But also because I like storylines that focus around Violet.


WTF? I thought last weeks episode was supposed to be aired this week! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING ABC?
