Yes Chuck and Blair will always be and epic love story. But you shouldn't knock the idea of Dair. I mean when I first heard of the thought I was like "whoa, hold up! But now I could kind of see it working out.

please please writers bring back the old chuck..this one is beyond ridiculous and pathetic...are we supposed to believe he is really in love with some girl he just met after telling blair he would love her forever??? thats just stupid and all hes whining about feeling lonely and everyone in his life letting him down and stuff makes me angry...i hate that he is behaving like such a victim when he has done bad things and dissapointed many people too (blair) and now lily and even reina or eva and well plenty of others...this character is so boring and pointless right now hes storyline is so lame and i know many chair fans try to defend him but he really cant be excused after everything hes done...someone said he understands blair better than dan ever could but right now i dont see that happening..he only hurts her and seems really far from being there for her supporting her and stuff the chuck bass from the previous seasons could but this new chuck doesnt deserve her she needs to stop suf

This refrain that Dair is bad for the ratings is so utterly meritless. People are buzzing about this couple all over the internet! There's a renewed interest in what's happening on the show because of it. You don't see the effects of that in ratings on the SAME DAY that the relationship begins to take shape. We haven't even had a kiss yet!

I'm sure DAIR is the only reason that keeps it up to 1.31 .
Without them now , the show won't even be worth watching .
What shall we watch ? Chuck and Ranias dreadful chemistry or Serenas nr 1001 lover ?

Finally! A good episode after the break! I was starting to get bored but thi s episode reminded me of why i loved GG in the first place- all the twists and turns with the Upper East Side !

First of all i am a chair fan..but i want dair to happen to get chuck jealous :)
plus GG writers implied in more than one occasion that chair is the end game :)
quoting from them:"Chuck and Blair are always top of mind to me and Stephanie, to the writers. There's been a long-term plan in place since the beginning of the show about them as a couple, and Chuck and Blair will always be top of mind."
Josh says, "fans live and die week to week in terms of what happens with their favorite couples. Obviously if they only stay together and are happy, people will complain, and if they're fighting, people will, too. You're always caught a little bit in a catch 22. But we are fans of Chuck and Blair, and we have a plan."
"Narratively, Chuck and Blair have been the most sustained couple we've had on the show. Many other couples have come and gone in the time that Chuck and Blair and their romance has been in the forefront, and the driving edge of other stories."

I didn't find most of the episode too interesting, but I did find Dan and Blair's interactions in it pretty delightful. It looks as though the two get all the fastest and most amusing dialogue when they're paired up, and that all the different physical quirks they get to play up when they're interacting with each other are also amusing.

I definitely hope they keep them interacting in future episodes.

@pty
you are right!
and the producers have said over and over again than Chair will always be the story and they are always connected to each other. Just accept it Dair fans!
